Open the Models folder, then hit the model you want. A nested Effort folder gives you Light through Ultra without the picker, arrow keys or menu-diving routine.

The fine print
Built to stay useful.
The model, effort and speed controls use ChatGPT's composer menu, the only method currently exposed by the app. When OpenAI changes its model line-up, these controls may need an update. Everything else uses direct shortcuts and is designed to stay put.
Tested with the ChatGPT macOS app on 26 July 2026. Built for a US/ANSI keyboard layout. Stream Deck profiles are updated by re-download, and updated profiles will be published when required.
